DEVELOPING TRADES OF ITI TALAJA BY INCULCATING ESSENTIAL MACHINERY

ITI or the Industrial Training Institutes function under the DGET (Directorate General of Employment and Training) and provide vocational training to students. The aim of these courses is to encourage students to start small-scale businesses and create job opportunities by providing proper industry competitive skill. Industrial Training Institute – Talaja was established in 2008. New campus building was inaugurated by Hon'ble Minister Shri Saurabhbhai Patel (Finance Minister) in 2015.

A lathe is a machining tool that is used primarily for shaping metal or wood. It works by rotating the work piece around a stationary cutting tool. The main use is to remove unwanted parts of the material, leaving behind a nicely shaped work piece. This M/C is Father of all machine of fitter Trade.
Pillar drills (also referred to as drill press machines) are versatile machines that can be used on a wide range of materials where single hole drilling is required. The head is lowered vertically and plunges into the material by means of a hand lever and the table can be adjusted to suit varying sizes of material.
It will help the students to increase the practical exposure during the learning and out of 50 practical given in syllabus of fitter trade 15 practical require lathe machine and out of 50 practical given in syllabus of fitter trade 30 practical require pillar drilling machine. Every year Total 60 Trainee will get advantage of both of Machine.
TIG welding machine: Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding, also known as Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is an arc welding process that produces the weld with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. TIG welders can be used to weld steel, stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, magnesium, copper, brass, bronze, and even gold. TIG is a useful welding process for welding wagons, bike frames, lawn mowers, door handles, fenders.
It will help the students to increase the practical exposure during the learning and out of 40 practical given in syllabus of Welder trade 08 practical require TIG Welding Machine. Every year Total 60 Trainee can get advantage of Machine
Website Development of ITI Talaja: Digital India is a campaign launched by the Government of India in order to ensure the Government's services are made available to citizens electronically by improved online infrastructure and by increasing Internet connectivity or making the country digitally empowered in the field of technology. Under Digital India we feel that website for any institute is necessary for wider reach.
