Throughout the year, we actively engaged in enhancing the infrastructure of Sarvodaya High School in Umrala, with the primary objective of advancing education for children belonging to marginalized communities. Our efforts included the construction of classrooms, envisioning the establishment of a robust educational framework within rural settings. This expansion directly addresses the school's requirement for extra classroom space, ultimately facilitating the seamless operation of the institution and extending significant advantages to its student body. Notably, the students enrolled in this school receive not only subject specific instruction but also valuable life lessons and skill development opportunities throughout their academic journey.

ABOUT SARVODAYA KELVANI MANDAL UMRALA

Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal Umrala established on 20/03/1964 i.e. before 69 years with the scope to provide primary, secondary and higher secondary school education in rural area in Bhavnagar district. organization started P M Sarvodaya High school in 1964 with standard 8,9,10,11. Then after Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal started primary school G.K. Parekh Primary school on 17/06/1995 and D.S.Salot Girls High school in 2000. Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal and P M Sarvodaya High school is dealing with providing education in rural area. Quality of education being provided is good all over Bhavnagar district. The students in this schools are given subject education with life lessons and another skill development during their school period. Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal has constructed many buildings in school campus in different years. It is located at Umrala taluka of Bhavnagar district. organization is working in India only.

Background of project executed

P M Sarvodaya High School facing deficiency of class rooms. By constructing new classrooms, school need for additional classroom will be fulfilled and that will help smooth running of school and students of the school will be benefited..

Objectives of CSR Project

• To provide quality education and skill developing through computer education in rural area.
• To provide skills for time management learning process, mathematics and science theories to up scale the students.
• To develop the sense of study in the students for their future college study and future professional life.
• By getting new computers with new applications will help the students in learning computer courses and computer skill development.
• The New class rooms for students will get new infrastructure through which they feel good atmosphere

In gist, education in economically backward class people of rural area and skill development through computer education is the main objective of the project

Targeted group of the project & Beneficiaries

In the rural area like umrala, students from all castes majority economically backward class will get benefit from this CSR project about 733 students will be benefited.

Geographical area of execution of project and reason for selecting that area Project has been executed at Umrala, Ta-Umrala, District-Bhavnagar, Gujarat, India Reason for selecting area is students studying in this P.M.Sarvodaya High School are from economically backward class people of rural area.

Monitoring Mechanism

All member mentioned by the trust will visit and supervise the site everyday. Project overall will be look after by the president of Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal Trust. Report will be submitted as and whenever demanded by the Company.

Sustainability Plan

Project will be sustainable with taking care by both Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal Trust and P M Sarvodaya High School. Sarvodaya Kelvani Mandal will take care of new Constructed classrooms time to time and P M Sarvodaya High School take care of computers. Company will be updated about the information about the project executed and its sustainability whenever demanded.
